Great authentic Mexican cuisine. Service is spot on, nice cozy atmosphere. Been here several times. It is our go to place for Mexican food in cottonwood

Been here a couple times now and so pleased every time. Atmosphere is older but the staff is amazing.... But not as amazing as the food! The pozole was off the hook! Chili relleno one of the best, tacos and tostadas perfect. Ask for the spicy salsa, but you better like heat! Going back tomorrow because we leave town Thursday and they are closed Wednesdays.

Great place on a rainy Saturday afternoon for lunch. We shared the chicken fajitas and there was so much food! Hot and delicious. We each had a house lime margarita which were quite tasty. Staff greeted us at the door and told us to seat ourselves. The place had a steady business without being crowded since there was plenty of seating. As we walked out another patron, who was walking in, told us that while he lives in Sedona, this is his favorite Mexican place around since the food is so good.

This place was great! In appearance it was all clean in traditional decor. All the staff was friendly. The food came out fast and hot. The drinks hit the spot. Would recommend this place and the carne asada burrito.

This place is legit! We stopped here on our drive from Sedona to Phoenix but wish we had stopped on the way to Sedona also! It's SO good! Authentic Mexican. Friendly service. Delicious salsa, queso and food! Everything came out super quick. Stop here if passing through for some GOOD authentic Mexican.!

I was here with friends and family for a short getaway, and we needed a place that left a good impression of Cottonwood for us. I can start by saying that this is a great spot for Mexican. The restaurant isn't trying to be fancy, high-end food--they're putting their best foot forward on taste and hospitality (the portions are great too). I had a taste of several different items, including their special burrito, which is packed with everything you need in a burrito--it's DENSE. You can probably share one burrito with 2-3 people, especially since you get chips and salsa as you wait for your food. The loaded nachos were good, but it wasn't the "best" I've ever had. It is satisfying and the plate was empty at the end of the meal, so don't take it as a negative. I'd get this again. The margarita is...dangerous. You most definitely know there's alcohol in there, but you barely taste it. Refreshing. The service is great, and you just know the location is run by family, and I 1000% appreciate this; especially because the food is tasty. Restaurant is clean, parking is abundant. You'll leave here full without a doubt.

Delicious food and fair prices. Our server told us that if anybody boast about being able to eat something hot then this is the place to try it. They have a Diablo taco that only six people over the past few decades have been able to finish. I had the garlic shrimp with beans and rice and my husband had the Ranchero shrimp with beans and rice. Both fantastic.

One of the best meals I've ever had, Mexican or otherwise. The shredded beef enchilada, the pork tamale, the crispy carnitas tacos, the refried beans, the chips, the salsa, the cadillac margarita, all superb. The only thing not to my taste was the rice. On top of the excellent food and drink, the service was warm and inviting, with perfect attentiveness. Even the music was not too loud. This will be my goto in the area.

First time visiting, the service was very personal and friendly! Sort of made you feel like a friend over for dinner, which is nice and relaxed. The food was pretty darn good! Great flavor and portion size! Dos Equis Amber is always a plus, too many places don't have it!
